Robert Frank Swigart

Robert Frank Swigart, 57, of 2903 E. Old Route 422, Fenelton, Pa. died at 11:30
a.m. Friday, October 11, 1991, at his residence following an illness.

He was born in Worthington on September 2, 1934, the son of Abraham M. Swigart
and the late Sarah E. (Flick) Swigart.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He worked for 18 years for Pullman Standard in Butler until the plant closed. He
was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, Chicora Moose
Lodge, Happy Hunters Sportsmen's Club, Buffalo Valley Sportsmen's Club, East
Butler Fireman's. Club, and the Roman Catholic Men's Club in Herman.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Marcella (Hilderbrand) Swigart, whom he
married on May 7, 1955; one son, Harley E. Swigart of Fenelton, Pa.; two
daughters, Mrs. William S. (Laura L.) Harrison of Fenelton, Pa., and Denise
Swigart of Worthington; one grandson; his father and stepmother, Abraham M. and
Ethel I. (Kile) Beilstein Swigart of Fenelton R.D. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Carl
(Emma G.) Protzman and Mrs. Carl (Sandra D.) Hilderbrand, both of Butler; two
brothers, twin brother William Milton Swigart of Karns City, Pa., and Donald
Swigart of Phoenix, Ariz.; two stepsisters; three
stepbrothers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends of Robert Frank Swigart, 57, of 2903 E. Old Route 422,
Fenelton, Pa. who died Friday, Oct. 11, 1991, will be received at the Thomas M.
Steighner Funeral Home, Chicora, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from St.
John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, Fenelton R.D. 1, with the Rev. John
Palko, pastor, officiating. 

Interment in Saint Johns Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
