Robert Edward Bundy SR
Robert Edward Bundy, Sr., 73, of Palmyra, Pa., passed away Wednesday, December
23, 2009 in his home.
He was born, April 22, 1936 in Craigsville, Pa., a son of the late Earl Calvin
Bundy and Martha Agasta (Fischer) Bundy.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Mr. Bundy was a retired inspector for the Federal Railroad Administration; a
Marine Corp. veteran and a U S Navy Reserve retiree.
He was an active member of the Country & Town Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg;
and an avid outdoors-man who especially enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Stephanie (DaMore) Bundy; a son, Robert E. Bundy, Jr.
and his wife Elissa L. and their daughter Hannah of Fairfield, Ohio; a brother
Earl C. Bundy, Jr. of Worthington, Pa.; four sisters; Helen I. Raves of
Mechanicsburg, Pa., Maybelle L. Claypool of Carlisle, Pa., Betty L. Goephert of
Gibsonia, Pa., and Esther C. Cataldi of Cowansville, Pa., and numerous nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brother, Lloyd R. Bundy, Leroy F. Bundy and
William F. Bundy; one sister, Winifred A. Ulisky.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009, from 10 until 11 a.m. in the
Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey, Pa. A
memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa., at a
future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the
Flight 93 National Memorial, P O Box 96149, Washington, DC 20090.
