Mary Ellen Barnhart Rearick
Mary Ellen (Barnhart) Rearick, 68, of Worthington died Wednesday, August 17,
2005 at her residence.
She was born August 23, 1936 in Worthington to Ralph J. and Helen (Caldwell)
Barnhart.
Mrs. Rearick was a clerk at Long's Market, Worthington.
She was a 1954 graduate of Worthington High School and a 1956 graduate of Butler
Business School.
She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington.
She was a lifelong resident of her community.
Survivors include one son, David Rearick of Worthington; one daughter, Karen
Medler and husband David of Wauwatosa, Wis.; one grandson, Alex Medler of
Wauwatosa; her mother of Worthington; two brothers, Arthur Barnhart of
Riverview, Fla. and David Barnhart and wife Mary of Canal Winchester, Ohio; one
sister, Margaret "Peg" Morris of Kittanning; one brother-in-law, Dennis Rearick
and wife Ellen of Fiskdale, Mass.; nephews; nieces; great-nephews; and
great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, John K. Rearick.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane
Snyder Funeral Home, Bear Street, Worthington. Additional visitation will be
held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington until
funeral services at 11 a.m. with her brother, the Rev. David R. Barnhart, pastor
of Peace Lutheran Church, Canal Winchester, Ohio, officiating.
Burial will be in the Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
