Helen Jean Renwick Cornman
Helen Jean Renwick Cornman, 81, of Castle Rock, Colo., formerly of Worthington,
died Friday, May 20, 2016 in Castle Rock.
She was born April 2, 1935 in Buffalo Valley to Clarence and Margaret (Robinson)
Renwick.
She was a 1953 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mrs. Cornman previously worked for Aluminum Ladder Co. in Worthington and also
at the Armstrong County Courthouse.
Helen was active in numerous churches throughout the country, where she played
piano and taught Sunday school.
In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Marsey and husband David; two
granddaughters, Trista Council and husband, Adam, and Tara Nussbacher and
husband, Peter; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Isaiah, Alaina, and Elias
Nussbacher; and one brother, Robert Renwick and sister, Pearl Baker and husband,
Francis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jack Cornman, whom
she married Jan. 19, 1957 and who died Sept. 16, 2014 and brother William.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lawn Haven Burial Estates,
Worthington, Pa.
