Patricia Louise Harmon Ollinger Kindler
Patricia Louise Harmon Ollinger Kindler, 86, formerly of Tarentum, passed away
Saturday, November 20, 2021, at UPMC Jameson Medical Center, New Castle.
She was born July 12, 1935, in Craigsville, PA to the late Walter and Lula Belle
“Lou” (Ruffner) Harmon.
She was a 1953 graduate from Worthington-West Franklin High School and then
Slippery Rock University and Butler School of Nursing.
Patricia lived most of her life in Tarentum and the past 4 years in New Castle.
She was a Registered Nurse for Western Psychiatric Hospital and Children’s
Hospital.
Patricia was of the Presbyterian faith.
She enjoyed shopping and reading on nursing.
Survivors include her son James E. Kindler, Jr. and partner Josh McGowan,
daughter Kim Olinger (David) Gardner, of Freeport, steps sons, John C. Hill, of
Sligo and Josh C. Kindler, of New Castle. Also surviving is a brother James
(Cindy) Harmon, of West Kittanning.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James C. Kindler
in 2001.
Visitation Tuesday from 2PM until the time of service at 5 PM in the Duster
Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
The burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, PA.
