Donald Patton Stewart

Donald Patton Stewart, 63, of Worthington, died Tuesday, January 7, 1997, at the
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Born August 5, 1933, in Worthington, he was the son of Carl N. Stewart and the
late Lucille E. (Patton) Stewart.

He was a 1952 graduate of Worthington High School and had worked at Pullman
Standard for 27 years.

Mr. Stewart was a member of the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church and a life
member of Kittanning VFW Post 863 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 64. He
also belonged to Worthington American legion Post 0828.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his fiancee, Betty J. Crabtree, of Cabot; two sons, Donald A.
Stewart of Fenelton and Daniel P. Stewart of East Brady; a daughter, Shaunee L.
Horstman, of Fenelton; his father, of Kittanning Township, Armstrong Count; a
brother, David C. Stewart, of Kittanning R.D. 3; two sisters, Mrs. George
(Virginia) Ruetschi of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Mrs. Ray (Helen) Bowser of
Kittanning R.D. 7; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a number of nieces
and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Stewart Michaud, July 31, 1991, of
Fla., and a brother, Richard A. Stewart, Jan. 6, 1996, of Worthington and an
infant brother.

Friends of Donald P. Stewart who died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear
St., Worthington. Visitation will also be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at
West Glade Run Presbyterian Church, where services will follow at 11 a.m.. The
Rev. David Caves Jr., church pastor, will officiate. 

Burial will be in the West Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
