William Walker Braun

William Walker Braun, 67, of Worthington, died Saturday, December 22, 2001 at
the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township.

He was born March 14, 1934 in Worthington to William F. and Iradelle (Walker)
Braun.

He was a 1952 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Mr. Braun was the owner and founder of the Butler Consumer Company. After
retiring from the company, he owned and operated Bison Motors.

He was a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church.

His other memberships included the Masonic Lodge 244, Royal Arch Chapter 247 and
Syria Shrine.

An auto racing enthusiast, his hobbies were restoring old cars and model
trains.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Carey) Braun, whom he married July 18, 1964;
two sons, William F. Braun and Robert J. Braun, both of Worthington; and one
grandson, Alexander Braun.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no public visitation for William W. Braun, 67, of Worthington, who
died Dec. 22, 2001. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the
Worthington Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jonathan Speck officiating. 

Interment will be in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa. 

The family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Worthington
Presbyterian Church or Orphans of the Storm.
