Theresa Kathleen Edwards Hodak
Theresa Kathleen "Kate" Edwards Hodak, 75, of Worthington, died Friday, March
28, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born August 31, 1932, in Worthington, a daughter of the late William W.
and Margaret Hazel (LaStrange) Edwards.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in
Coylesville. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her
family and her grandkids. She loved her dog, Tuffy.
She is survived by her son, Robert J. Hodak and his wife, Carol, of Worthington;
daughters, Chris Walters and her husband, Ken, and Jackie Smith and her husband,
Jeffrey, all of Worthington; seven grandchildren, Mark and Tony Hodak, Ron, Rob
and Rich Turney, Melissa and Lacey Smith; seven great-grandchildren; sisters,
Mary Elizabeth Lewis, of Worthington, and JoAnn Crawford and her husband,
Ronald, of Warren, Ohio; sister-in-law, Cecilia Edwards, of Butler; and several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
"Chuck" Hodak, who died Oct. 27, 1999, and to whom she was married for 51 years;
infant daughter, Jacqueline Ann Hodak; and two brothers, Paul F. Edwards and
William J. Edwards.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington, where there will be one
hour of additional viewing prior to the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Father
Kenneth Kezmarksy officiating.
Interment in Saint Johns Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
