James Edward Ulisky

James Edward Ulisky, 75, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away Thursday,
October 9, 2008, after a long illness. 

He was born March 17, 1933, in Worthington, to Michael and Judith (Ulisky)
Ulisky. He was the youngest of 14 children. 

After graduating from Worthington High School in 1951, he joined the Army and
served during the Korean War. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland
Indians fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and following their
sports. Also, he was a devoted fan and volunteer for all North Ridgeville High
School boys and girls sports. 

He is survived by five daughters, Barbara (Jeff) Flippo, of Florida, Jamie and
Amy Ulisky, Sandra (Rich) Cayet and Andrea (Clark) Ashley, all of North
Ridgeville; grandchildren, Miranda and Matthew Ulisky and Ricky and Danielle
Cayet; great-granddaughter, Lily Ulisky; two sisters, Mildred Bush, of
Worthington, and Leona Morrison, of Florida; sister-in-law, Ruth Zellefrow, of
West Kittanning; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Jane (Emminger), in
1999; granddaughter, Ashley; his parents; seven brothers, Michael, John, Paul,
Steven, Andrew, George and Walter, ; and four sisters, Suzanne Denniston, Julia
Earl, Mary and Helen. 

Funeral took place Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME with the Rev.
Kevin Crow of Harvest Ridge Assembly of God officiating.
