Thomas Craig McKee

Thomas Craig McKee, 83, of Worthington died peacefully, surrounded by his
daughters, on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Meadow Lake Manor in Worthington.

He was born on the family farm in Worthington on April 14, 1933, to the late
Thomas Clifford and Ethel (Wagner) McKee.

He was a 1951 Worthington High School graduate, and a 1955 graduate of Penn
State University.

He was a retired farmer and a feed and seed dealer. Craig was also a mail
carrier for the Worthington area.

He served in the United States Army.

Craig was of the Protestant faith.

He was known as the local groundhog exterminator, in one year alone, he
eliminated more than one hundred. He was also an avid hunter, and liked bowling.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters, Vicki I. (Thomas) Abell of Worthington and Teri
McKee of San Antonio, Florida, and Cricket (Sean) Woodside of Worthington;
granddaughters, Nicole (Michael) Watz of Peoria, Arizona, Kelli Dicey of
Worthington, Lindsey (Kevin) Williams of San Antonio, Hayley Woodside and Hannah
Woodside, both of Worthington; grandsons, Christian Woodside and Brenden
Woodside, both of Worthington; great-granddaughter, Devon Watz of Peoria;
great-grandsons, Brandon Nealey and Shane Williams, both of San Antonio;
great-granddaughter, Shealin Williams of San Antonio; sister, Violet (Perry) Ray
of Butler; brother, Jim (Luana) McKee of Worthington; sister, Marilyn (Bob)
Elder of Enon Valley; brother, Jack (Judy) McKee of Montrose; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, R. Dean McKee and his wife,
Shirley.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington.
Additional visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, in the
Franklin Union Baptist Church, 106 Century Hill Lane, Worthington until the time
of funeral services at 11 a.m. 

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
