Leo Joseph Curdo
Leo Joseph Curdo, husband for 65 years of Gaye Curdo, most recently of Juniata
County, and formerly of Chester County, passed away on December 7, 2020 of
complications from a stroke.
He was a 1951 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
Leo was born February 5, 1933 in West Winfield, Armstrong County, Pa. He was the
son of Tony and Clara Curdo (Bonozich).
Leo was a “large than life” self-employed roofing and siding contractor. He
could fix anything. He will be remembered and missed by all.
Along with his wife, Gaye, Leo is survived by five children whom he loved very
much: Jeff (Beverly) of Brighton, CO, Patty Brooks of McAlisterville, Sherry
McIlvaine (Donald) of Exton, Andy (Leslie) of West Chester, and Maria Lewin of
Mifflintown. Leo is also the Grandfather of six, Great-Grandfather of eight, and
is survived by his loving feline companion, Jen.
Leo was the last of his generation and was pre-deceased by a brother, Pete
Curdo, and a sister, Anne Kranikovich.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
