Audrey Alice Bowser Neale
Audrey Alice Bowser Neale, 60, of 332 Ventura Drive, Youngstown, Ohio, died
Wednesday, September 1, 1993, at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was born September 1, 1933, in Armstrong County to the late Harry C. and
late Alice (Miller) Bowser.
She was a 1951 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She retired in 1987 from Youngstown City Schools after 30 1/2 years as a school
teacher.
She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in
education and from Youngstown State University with two master's degrees as well
as a superintendent certificate and a counseling certificate. She initiated the
On-tasc (an alcohol and drug program for schools).
Survivors include her husband, Luther C. Neale, whom she married July 25, 1955;
three sons, Randy C. of Redondo Beach, Calif. and Wayne C. and Dennis C. Neale,
both of Blacksburg, Va.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Dwight Bowser, in 1950.
Friends of Audrey A. Neale, 60, of 332 Ventura Drive, Youngstown, Ohio, who died
Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
and Saturday at Blackstone's Funeral Home, Churchill Road, Girard, Ohio. Private
services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p.m.
