Mary Alice Swigart
Mary Alice "Jo" Swigart, 58, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Worthington, died
Saturday, April 27, 1991, at North Hills Passavant Hospital.
Born December 3, 1932, in Worthington, she was the daughter of James Craig and
Florence M. (Kammerdeiner) Swigart.
She was a 1950 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was retired from U.S. Steel Corp. where she had worked for 35 years. She
had been employed by Thorp Reed and Armstrong in Pittsburgh when she died.
She was a member and elder of the Forest Avenue Presbyterian Church, Bellevue.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Harold (Norma Jean) Bowser of Worthington R.D. 1;
three nephews; two nieces; seven grandnephews; and two grandnieces.
She was preceded in death by a grandniece.
Friends of Mary Alice Swigart of Pittsburgh, formerly of Worthington, who died
Saturday, April 27, 1991, will be received at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515
Jefferson St., Kittanning, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from the West
Glade Run Presbyterian Church, Kittanning R.D. 3, from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be conducted from the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the
Rev. Carlton Stock, pastor of Forest Avenue Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in West Glade Run Cemetery, Kkittanning, Pa.
