David Roy Roudybush

David Roy Roudybush, 72, of Annandale, Va., died Saturday, September 18, 2004,
of cancer at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Born May 27, 1932 in Worthington-West Franklin Township to William Roy and Edith
(Miller) Roudybush.
 
He grew up in Worthington and was a 1950 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin
High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Roudybush moved to Washington in 1951 and worked in supplies for the FBI.
After two years in the Army, in which he served in counterintelligence, he
rejoined the FBI's supplies department until 1961.

He received a master's of commercial science degree in accounting from Benjamin
Franklin University in Washington. In 1961, Mr. Roudybush embarked on a career
in accounting, working briefly for a brokerage firm and for two trade
associations, National Business Media and the National Cable Television
Association. He was accountant and office manager for Congressional Couriers
Inc., in Washington for about 18 years, until he left work for health reasons in
1993.

He lived in Washington D.C. from 1951 to 1963, when he moved to Alexandria, Va.
and then moved with his family to Annandale, Va. in 1973.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Phyllis J. Roudybush of Annandale, Va.;
two sons, Mark David Roudybush of Annandale, Va. and Richard S. Roudybush of
Fairfax County, Va; three brothers; Gary Roudybush of Butler, Pa., Wayne L.
Roudybush of Payson, Ariz., Gerald L. Roudybush of Butler, Pa.; and two
grandsons.

Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
