Elizabeth Joanne McGrady Betti    
 
Elizabeth Joanne McGrady Betti, 78, of 616 Union St., Crestline, died Wednesday,
February 2, 2011 at Galion Pointe Nursing Home, Galion, after complications from
a fall.

Joanne was born in Worthington, PA on November 20, 1932 to the late William and
Gertrude (Cypher) McGrady. She married Anthony L. "Herm" Betti and he survives
her.

She was a 1951 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline. She had worked as a
cashier at the Cardinal Store in Crestline, as a dietitian for the former
Crestline Memorial Hospital and at Subway in Crestline. Joanne was a member of
the VFW Auxiliary in Crestline. She enjoyed camping and spending time at the
lake.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter in law, Mark and Paula Betti of
Bucyrus and Michael Betti of Crestline; her grandchildren, Andrew and Krista
Betti of Edison, Toni and Josh Schafer of Sycamore, Renae Betti of Bucyrus,
Amber Bostic, Ashley Bostic, Jordan Bostic; her great grandson, Issac Betti of
Edison; her three sisters and brothers in law, Mary Smith, Worthington PA,
Margaret and Larry McGee, Erie, PA, Nancy McCullough, Holden, MO. 

She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Carla Tucker and Beth Ann Betti;
brother, Jack McGrady; and two sisters Dorothy Kerr and Betty Rome.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home,
Crestline, where an evening vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. with Deacon
William Horning officiating. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, February 7 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with Rev.
Michael A. Geiger officiating. 

Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Crestline, Oh.

The family suggests contributions may be made to the Rehab Treatment Center,
Mansfield, in care of the funeral home.
