Gloria Pauline  Hillberry

Gloria Pauline Hillberry, 81, of Worthington, Pa., died Tuesday, June 3, 2014,
in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. 

Born December 8, 1932, in Worthington, she was a daughter of the late Carl
Ralston and Orie Geraldine (Claypoole) Hillberry and was a lifelong community
member. 

She was a 1950 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

She was employed by the Armstrong School District as a secretary at Worthington
High School for approximately 32 years until the school closed in 1984, then
West Hills Elementary. 

She was a life member of Franklin Union Baptist Church in Worthington, where she
taught Sunday School and Junior Church.

Survivors include her nephew, Douglas Scott (Connie J.) Hillberry, of Fenelton,
Pa.; nieces, Darla Sue (Lynn A.) Toy, of Worthington, and Deanna Suzette
Hillberry, of Worthington; great-nieces, Brittany L. (Joshua L.) Lynch, of
Montgomery, Pa., and Jillian N. Jack, of Worthington; great-nephew, Evan Toy, of
Erie, Pa.; great-great-nephews, Owen Jack and Jonathan Lynch; and
great-great-niece, Scarlett Lynch. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles
"Grier" Hillberry. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to
4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Worthington.
Additional visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Franklin Union
Baptist Church, where services will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Scott Jones
officiating. 

Interment will follow in Franklin Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Worthington,
Pa.
