Donna June Crawford Smith
Donna "June" Crawford Smith, 91, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at
Sugarcreek Rest on Monday, December 20, 2021.
She was born at the Yellow Dog church camp to Calvin A. and Beulah (Shakely)
Crawford, May 13, 1930.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA.
June worked many different jobs throughout the years - Essex International, the
cafeteria at the West Windfield Mines, and the deli at Toys Golden Dawn.
She was an avid bingo player. Any night of the week, she could have been found
playing cards with her sisters.
June is leaving behind her sons, Richard (Barb) Smith, Worthington, Robert
(Patricia) Smith, Industry, and daughters, Connie (John) Fox, Worthington, and
Darlene Bowser, of Worthington. She took pride in her 12 grandchildren, 21
great- grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren - another due in March. Also,
surviving are her brothers, Richard (Connie) Crawford, Kittanning, and Robert
(Marie) Crawford, Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Smith; great-grandsons,
Zachery Stennett and Cameron Crissman; twin sister Jean Smith; sisters, Dorothy
Budd, Louise Giff, Betty Mularchik and Pat Smith, and an infant sister.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021,
with funeral services to immediately follow at 2 p.m. at F. Duane Snyder Funeral
Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa with David Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
