Mona Jean Crawford Smith
Mona "Jean" (Crawford) Smith, 81, of Worthington, died Wednesday, February 22,
2012, at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born May 13, 1930, in Yellowdog, Pa., Armstrong County, a daughter of
the late Calvin A. Crawford and Beulah (Shakley) Crawford.
She was a 1949 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and quilting and loved spending time with her
family.
Survivors include her sons, Terry L. Smith and wife, Kathi, of Worthington, and
Tim L. Smith and wife, Debbie, of Worthington; grandchildren, Shawna Zaliponi
and husband, Trevor, of Butler, Brett Smith and wife, Danielle, of Worthington,
Kylee Barber, of Edinboro, and Somer Dae Smith, of Worthington; four
great-grandchildren, Alyza, Noah, Cameron and Max; sister, K. Louise Giff, of
Worthington, and twin sister, Donna June Smith, of Worthington; brothers,
Richard Crawford, of Kittanning, and Robert Crawford, of Worthington; and
sister, Patricia Smith, of Worthington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E.
Smith; infant sister, Vivian Crawford; and two sisters, Dorothy Budd and Betty
Mularchik.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m.
until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday in the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME,
Worthington, with the Rev. Fred Neal.
Interment in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
