William Fischer Bundy

William Fischer "Bill" Bundy, 78, of Mentor, Ohio, died Monday, April 6, 2009,
at Lake East Hospital in Painesville, Ohio.

He was born September 9, 1930, in Craigsville, Pa., a son of the late Earl
Calvin Bundy and Martha Agasta (Fischer) Bundy. 

He was a 1949 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.  

Mr Bundy had worked as a laborer and a pipe fitter apprentice at the former
Fischer Body, Colt Road plant for 21 years.  He then worked as a tow motor
operator at the Parma Chevy assembly plant for nine years. 

He was a member of the UAW Local 45 and the Loyal Order of Moose for 50 years in
DuBois.  He enjoyed hunting, bowling, golf and bingo. He was an Air Force
veteran of the Korean War and a member of AMVETS Post 40. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ruth Ann (Duckett-Walburn); daughter,
Susan Yvonne Bundy of Rock Hill, SC; son, Timothy Allen Bundy of San  Francisco,
CA. 

He is also survived by two brothers; Earl Calvin Bundy Jr. of Worthington, Pa.,
and Robert E. Bundy Sr. of Palmyra, Pa.; four sisters, Helen I. Raves of
Mechanicsburg, Pa., Maybelle L. Claypool of Carlisle, Pa., Betty L. Goephert of
Verona, Pa., and Esther C. Cataldi of Cowansville, Pa.; and numerous nieces and
nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd R. Bundy and Leroy F. Bundy; one
sister, Winifred A. Ulisky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2 pm Monday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation
Service, 8446 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, OH, 44060.
