Betty Jane Beckett Goldstrom
Betty Jane Goldstrohm, 90, of Kittanning, passed away on Sunday, December 25,
2022, at Quality Life Services, Sugarcreek.
She was born on August 16, 1932, to Glenn and Elsie (Hamilton) Beckett in
Worthington.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Betty was a farmer’s wife. She was a member of Salem (Hill’s) United Church
of Christ.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Donna Stear, of Kittanning; son, David
(Tracey Branan) Goldstrohm, of Rural Valley; daughter-in-law, Kim Goldstrohm, of
Kittanning; four granddaughters: Tina (John) Garrett, Bonnie (Ric) Wright,
Amanda (Michael Toy) Crispen and Tabitha McLaughlin; two grandsons, Bob (Misty)
Martin and Terry (Jen) Cousins; 13 great-grandchildren; seven
great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Burris, of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Clair Goldstrohm;
son, Edward R. Goldstrohm; daughter, Cynthia Ann Cousins; two sisters, Genevieve
McEwen and Alice Miller; and a brother, Richard Beckett.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at
Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 W. Main St., Rural Valley, Pa.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the
funeral home with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.
Burial will take place in the Salem (Hill’s) United Church of Christ
Cemetery.
