Karl Taylor Flick

Karl Taylor Flick, 70, of Ford City R.D. 2 (Manor Township) died Sunday, July
18, 1999 in St. Francis Medical Center, Cranberry Township.

He was born May 31, 1929 in North Buffalo Township to Paul Taylor and Sula L.
(Toy) Flick.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II and then served with the
United States Air Force, retiring in 1968 after 20 years of service.

He was a member of Heilman Emanuel Lutheran Church of Garretts Run and former
member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Wichita, Kansas; member of the American
Legion Post of Worthington and a member of National Uniform Services and Air
Force Retirees Association.

He is survived by a son, Walter P. Flick of Adkins, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. John
(Karla) Cooper of Bella Vista, Ark.; two grandsons, Nathan Cooper and Casey
Flick; one granddaughter, Allison Cooper; his mother, Sula L. Flick Hall of Ford
City R.D. 2; a stepbrother, Scott Hall of New Jersey; and a stepsister, Ruth
Hall of Pittsburgh.

Friends of Karl Taylor Flick, 70, of Ford City R.D. 2 (Manor Township) who died
Sunday, July 18, 1999, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services
will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Vaughn Taylor of Heilman
Lutheran Church officiating.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Jack.

Internment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Ka.
