Dorothy Mae Crawford Hodak

Dorothy Mae (Crawford) Hodak, 85, of Butler, Pa., died Wednesday morning,
October 9, 2013, at the Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler, Pa.

Born September 24, 1928, in Worthington, Pa., she was a daughter of the late
Charles M. Crawford and Mary M. (Ott) Crawford.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

She had worked at the Moonlight Mushroom Plant, Worthington, for more than 20
years, until her retirement in 1984.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and enjoyed
ceramics and cooking.

Surviving are her four sons, Dennis G. (Judy A.) Hodak, Charles G. (Susan G.)
Hodak, John A. (Karen S.) Hodak and Robert J. Hodak, all of Butler; nine
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hodak, whom she married January
12, 1951, and who died March 9, 2012; four brothers; Robert James Crawford Sr.,
Charles "Chop" Crawford, Walter "Toot" Crawford, Earl "Hank" Crawford; and five
sisters, Bernice Crawford, Lillian McKruit, Myrtle Bowser, Mable and Ida.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the
GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will be
held 11 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the Sunnyview
Home Alzheimer's Unit, 101 Sunnyview Circle, Butler, PA 16001.
