Frank Melvin Bowser

Frank Melvin Bowser, 94, of Worthington, went to be with his Lord and Savior on
Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the Butler Memorial Hospital. 

He was born on April 16, 1929, in Worthington to the late Rayburn & Florence
(Claypool) Bowser.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. 

He was a M.P. in the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. 

Frank retired from the Armstrong Cement Company. 

He was a devoted member of the Worthington Baptist Church where he served as a
deacon for many years. Frank loved hunting. 

He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory son, Jeff (Trudy) Bowser of
Worthington, son, Vaughn (Debbie) Bowser of Worthington, grandchildren, Jason
Bowser, Jennifer Bowser, Jana (Mike) Meneely, Joel (Mary) Brocious, and Emily
Brocious. 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Carl Bowser of Boggsville and Roy
(Mudge) Bowser of Worthington, and son-in-law Steve Brocious of Worthington. 
In addition to his parents, great-grandchildren he was preceded in death by his
1st wife Avanelle Bowser, 2nd wife Maxine Bowser, daughter, Valerie Brocious,
sister, Joy Bowser, and brothers, Clarence Bowser, Glenn Bowser, Wayne Bowser,
and Kenneth Bowser. 

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in the F. Duane
Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear Street, Worthington, PA 16262 from 4:00 –
8:00pm. 

Additional viewing will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, in the Worthington
Baptist Church, 327 Ross Street, Worthington, PA 16262 from 10:00am until the
time of funeral services at 11:00am. 

Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates with full military honors given
by the Armstrong County Honor Guard.
