Arnold Clark Bowser

Arnold Clark Bowser, 93, of Kittanning, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at
home. 

He was born August 2, 1929, in Slate Lick to the late Arnold D. and Florence I.
(Smith) Bowser.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from the United Brotherhood
of Carpenters. Arnold was a member of the First Church of God in Kittanning
where he went on many mission trips to Brazil, Panama, Honduras, Africa, and
Florida. He held many positions in the church including the building committee,
Council Chair, Campaign Committee, and Maintenance Committee.

Arnold worked with the local Habitat for Humanity and Lake Wales Care Center in
Florida doing carpentry and remodeling projects. He was a tractor tinkerer or
anything mechanical. He also enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Salsgiver-Bowser whom he married May 20,
2022; children Nichola L. Bausser, Douglas C. (Cecilia) Bowser, Kandace L.
(Carsten) Boysen, Melody L. (Thomas) Wells, Lex A. (Andrea) Bowser, Jill D.
(Jerry) Bish, Christopher W. (Wendy) Salsgiver; brothers and sisters Thomas
(Linda) Bowser, Chester (Jeanne) Bowser, Frank (Carol) Bowser, and Joan Neal;
brother and sister in laws Georgia (Jim) Furlong, Audrey (Bob) Cacurak, Jay
(Judy) Schreckengost, Mabel Schreckengost, Jill Klingensmith, and Sandy (Steve)
Arblaster; grandchildren Steven (Casandra) Bowser, Douglas (Wendy) Bowser, Erica
Falchetti, Mandy (Chris) Butler, Matthew Falchetti, Toby (Karen) Long, Tyler
(Courtney) Long, Jolie Long, Paul (Lindsey) Boysen, Christopher (Nicole) Boysen,
Lyric Bowser, Vai Bowser, Brianna (Jonathan) Class, Brandon Bish, Alia Scott,
and Melissa Oberst; great grandchildren Desmond, Audrey, Madeline, Breezy,
Tradd, Zachary, Ellie, and Genevieve.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Gloria L. (Schreckengost) Bowser;
brother Richard Bowser and George Bowser; sister Loretta Ward.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Kennedy & Blodgett
Funeral Home in Kittanning from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm
with Rev. Nick Wilson officiating. 

The interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, Pa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Arnolds’ honor to the
First Church of God Building Fund at 13374 US Route 422 Kittanning, PA 16201.
