Eyvette Rose Shearer Fair

Eyvette Rose (Shearer) Fair, 77, of Worthington, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in
Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. 

She was born January 25, 1930, in Herculaneum, Mo., daughter of the late Albert
Hepler Shearer Sr. and Bessie Alice (Ruffaner) Shearer.

She was a 1948 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.  

She was a homemaker and member of Grace Baptist Church, Kittanning, the
Salvation Army and TOPS. She was a church organist and soloist, sang at many
weddings and enjoyed quilting and crafts. 

Survivors include her husband, Hugh H. Fair; sons, Roger H. Fair, of
Worthington, and Michael H. Fair, of Yatesboro; daughter, Colleen R. Keenan, of
Rural Valley; grandsons, R. Eric Fair, of La Place, La.; Sean T. Fair, of
Alexandria, Va., Philip M. Geer, of NuMine, and Brandon C. Fair, of Yatesboro;
granddaughter, Stephanie L. Fair, of Yatesboro; great-grandson, Dustin J. Fair,
of Indiana, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Tayla H. Fair, of Indiana, Pa.; and
brothers, John W. Shearer, of Sebastian, Fla., W. Richard Shearer, of
Washington, Pa., and J. Robert Shearer, of Kittanning. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth
Shearer, Vernon Shearer, Alton Shearer and Albert H. Shearer Jr.; sisters,
Annabel Bouch-Lash, Ethel Nichol, Doris Cowan-Lash and Melda Bricker; and a
grandson, Russell Wayne Fair. 

Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Services will be held
1 p.m. Friday in Grace Baptist Church, 527 Butler Road, Kittanning, with
visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Daniel L. Kaminski, church pastor,
will officiate. 

Interment will be in Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
