Mary Grace Hodak Szalankiewicz
Mary Grace Hodak Szalankiewicz, 62, of Main Street, Worthington, Pa., died
Friday, October 23, 1992 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin
Township, Kittanning, Pa.
She was born June 16, 1930, in West Franklin Township to "Evan" John and
Margaret (McCall) Hodak.
She graduated with the "Class of 1948" from Worthington-West Franklin High
School, Worthington, Pa.
Mrs. Szalankiewicz was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in
Kittanning.
Survivors include her husband, George M. Szalankiewicz, whom she married May 26,
1951; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Victoria Lynn) Boguslawski of RD 2,
Worthington, and Deborah Kay Szalankiewicz, at home; three brothers, George
Hodak of Butler, Pa., Louis J. Hodak and Robert C. "Chuck" Hodak, both of RD 1,
Worthington; one sister, Josephine Voelkel of Kittanning; four grandchildren,
Tara, Erin, Carrie Jo and Joel; and a great-granddaughter, Darlene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford J.
Hodak.
Friends of Mary Grace Hodak Szalankiewicz, 62, of Main Street, Worthington, Pa.,
died Friday, October 23, 1992, will be received from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington, where a parish wake
service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. A Christia Funeral Mass will be held
Monday at 10 a.m.at St. Mary's Roman Catholic church in Kittanning, with Msgr.
David L. Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Mausoleum, Worthingtom. Pa.
