Betty Louise Bundy Goepfert
Betty Louise Bundy Goepfert age 89, of Penn Hills, passed away on Saturday,
September 17, 2016.
She was born April 4, 1927, in Craigsville, Pa, a daughter of the late Earl
Calvin Bundy and Martha Agasta (Fischer) Bundy.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Betty was a member of Apostles Lutheran Church where she was very active.
Beloved Wife for 66 years of Richard G. Goepfert; loving mother of Betsy Rozen,
Denise Goepfert, and Cindy Steinert; grandmother of Gabrielle Pica and Megan
Burke; great-grandmother of Ella Burke, Addison Burke, and Braedyn Pica; sister
of Earl Bundy, Helen Raves, Maybelle Claypoole and Esther Cataldi.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by siblings, William Bundy,
Robert Bundy, LeRoy Bundy, Winifred Ulisky, and Lloyd Bundy.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 2-4
and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES,
INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Funeral Service Saturday, September 24, 2016,
10 a.m. in the funeral home.
Private interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthngton, Pa.
Donations may be made in her name to Apostles Lutheran Church, 447 Hamil Rd.,
Verona, PA 15147.
