George William Billings
George William Billings, age 78, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Friday, November
9, 2007 at Crestmark Health & Rehabilitation in Roselawn, IN.
George was born on January 23, 1929, in West-Frankling township, a son
of George W. and Mary B. (Fails) Billings.
He was retired from Bethleham Steel Burns Harbor.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He is survived by his wife: Nellie (nee White), married July 1, 1950; two sons:
Thomas (Karen) Billings of Chesterton, IN and David (Christine) Billings of
Boone Grove, IN; two daughters: Patricia (Brian) Defries of Roselawn, IN and
Peggy Balch of Hobart, IN; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister
Mary Jane Wood of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was prededed in death by a sister, Martha Belle
Uber, July 10, 1997
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Geisen
Funeral Home, Hebron with Rev. Thomas M. Lovely officiating.
Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main, Hebron, IN on Tuesday
November 13, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, In.
