Floyd Wayne Sliker

Floyd "Bud" Wayne Sliker, 64, of Worthington R.D. 1, died Sunday November 29,
1992, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Born October 16, 1928, in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, he was the
son of Orie Sliker of Worthington and the late Evelyn (Harkless) Sliker.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He retired as assistant superintendent for the Logan Clay Co. in Worthington
after 31 years of service.

Mr. Sliker was a member of the Worthington Baptist Church where he had served as
chairman of the Board of Deacons. He also belonged to the Worthington Lions
Club.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Maxine (Davenport) Sliker, to whom he was married
for 48 years; his father; a son, Kenneth W. Sliker of Middletown, Del.; a
daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Susan L.) Myers of Troy, Ohio; a brother, Willard R.
Sliker of Butler; and two grandchildren.

Friends of Floyd "Bud" Wayne Sliker of Worthington R.D. 1, who Sunday Nov. 29,
1992, will be received at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington, form 7
to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will also
be held at the Worthington Baptist Church for one hour prior to the 11 a.m.
funeral services with the Rev. Walter Pifer, pastor, officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Wortington Baptist Church.
