Mary Lou Bowser Morrison

Mary Lou Bowser Morrison, 61, of Slippery Rock, Pa., died Saturday, October 27,
1990, in the Franklin Regional Medical Center.

Born August 9, 1929, in Worthington, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Edward
A. and Hattie B. (McDermott) Bowser.

She was a 1947 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington, the
Worthington American Legion Auxiliary, and had been a past member of the Parker
chapter of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Morrison retired from Moonlight Mushrooms, Worthington, in 1972 after 24
years of service.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel David Morrison, whom she married June 23,
1972; four stepsons, S Darl Morrison of Worthington, David L. Morrison of Karns
City R.D. 2, Ralph E. Morrison of Bellewood and Larry E. Morrison of Parker,
Pa.; a stepdaughter, Vickie Morrison at home; two brothers, Howard R. Bowser of
Worthington and Edward A. Bowser Jr. of Buffalo, N.Y.; four sisters, Viola P.
(Bowser) Bowser, Roberta B. Good and Mabel E. Adams, all of Worthington, and
Delores I. Ambrose of R.D. 1, Adrian, Pa.; eight step grandchildren; and nine
step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Vivian Blose, Ada Morrison and
LoVella Bowser.

Friends of Mary Lou Morrison, 61, of Slippery Rock, who Saturday, Oct. 27, 1990,
will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 ;.m. Monday at the F. Duane Funeral
Home, Worthington, and also from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Worthington. Funeral services will be held from the church at
11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Donald Worth, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.

The family requests memorial gifts be made to the Worthington Library.
