Phyllis Jean Zellefrow Wendell-Reichard

Phyllis Jean (Zellefrow) Wendell-Reichard, 82, of Worthington, died Sunday, May
20, 2012, at Sunnyview in Butler. 

She was born August 21, 1929, in Worthington, a daughter of the late Arthur O.
Zellefrow and Sarah Belle (Snyder) Zellefrow.

She was a 1947 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

A lifelong resident of the community, she was a homemaker and a member of North
Buffalo Grace Brethren. She liked crocheting and making afghans, reading,
visiting with family and friends and shopping on QVC. Phyllis grew up at Zilly's
Grove with her father and her aunt and uncle, Isabel and Lawrence Zellefrow. She
attended Worthington School. She made her home in Coylesville for many years,
then moved to the Freeport area. She recently moved back to Worthington. 

Survivors include her daughters, Sherry (Robert) McCue-Stillwagon, of Chicora,
and Dona Vensel and her fiance, Raymond Toy, of Worthington; grandchildren,
James (Bonnie) Vensel Jr., of Apollo, Jackie (James) Claypoole, of Ford City,
and Jeremy (Jennifer) Vensel, of Ford City; eight great-grandchildren and
numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters,
Betty Klugh, Louise Reed and Mildred Goldstrom; an aunt, Isabel "Nanny"
Zellefrow; and her first husband, Kelly Wendell. 

Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL
HOME in Worthington. Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with
additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service with Pastor Donald
Breghenti. 

Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
