Ronald Everett Lewis
Ronald Everett “Ed” Lewis, age 93, fell asleep in death peacefully
surrounded by his loving family on April 24, 2023.
He was born to the late Ronald S. and Mabel I. (Vensel) Lewis on May 29, 1929,
in Worthington, PA.
He was a 1947 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
He met his future wife, Judith A Moor, after he moved to Ohio, and they were
married on September 26, 1959. They shared 58 years together until she passed
away in 2017.
Together they served for many years teaching others about the truths found in
the bible as members of the Cortland Ohio Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnesses.
He will be remembered fondly by his children, Deborah S. Ross (Kenneth) and
Daniel E. Lewis, his grandchildren, Kyle N. Ross (Aimalee), and Amy R. Lewis,
and his great- grandchildren, Reymin and Anaya Jimenez. He will also be sadly
missed by his brother John W. “Bill” Lewis (Polly), Indiana, PA, and
sisters, Jean Draper and Karen Haines, Cortland, OH as well as several nieces
and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service via Zoom will be held on May 21, 2023, at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ohio Living
Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Rd., Building E Suite 201, Canfield, OH 44406, because
of the wonderful care both he and his wife received from them.
