Paul Alexander Hindman

Paul Alexander "Red" Hindman, 66, of Kittanning R.D. 3, died Saturday, December
16, 1995, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born November 26, 1929 in Craigsville to Carr S. and Laura J. (McMillen)
Hindman.

He was a 1947 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Mr. Hindman was retired since 1991 from the Freeport Transportation Inc., having
27 years service.

He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Kittanning, R.D. 3.

He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Worthington American Legion, where he was serving as Post
Commander.

He was the vice president of the Armstrong County Legion of Honor.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah D. (Shaffer) Hindman, whom he married on June
21, 1950; one son, Paul D. Hindman of Kittanning R.D. 3; and one daughter, Mrs.
Ralph (Glenna) Fahlor Jr. of Cowansville; three grandchildren, Veronica and
Travis Petras and Paul Fahlor; two brothers, Elmer S. Hindman of Craigsville and
James "Red" K. Hindman of Kittanning.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frank L. and George N.
Hindman; one sister, Laura Ellen McCrea Green; and one grandson, Jason Petras.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Victory Baptist Church,
Kittanning R.D. 3, with his pastor, the Rev. Robert Lemmon and the Rev. William
Shirk, chaplain at Allegheny General Hospital, co-officiating.

Interment in Lawn Have Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
