Ralph Kerr Gaiser, 66, of 2800 Pine Lake Drive in Greensboro, died Friday, June
28, 1996, at NC Baptist Hospital in Greensboro.

There is no doubt that Mr. Gaiser will be remembered by countless numbers of
people, however, not for extraneous things, but for intangible human qualities
which illustrated the soul of an honest and kind man. He moved through life with
such a companionable temperament that his mere simplicity often set the most
apprehensive stranger at ease.

Mr. Gaiser was preceded in death by both his parents, Chalmer Ralston and Agnes
Kerr Gaiser, and his brother, George D. Gaiser.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Perkins Gaiser of the home; daughters,
Teresa ``Teri' Olivares of Winston-Salem, and Sheryl ``Sheri' Lyon of
Greensboro; sons, Stephen K. Gaiser and Daniel ``Danny' Gaiser, both of
Greensboro, and Bryan K. Gaiser of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren, one
great-grandchild, one niece, and two nephews.
