Margaret Frances Borovatz
Margaret Frances Borovatz, 73, of Worthington R.D. 1, Pa., died Wednesday,
January 29, 2003 at her residence.
She was born July 7, 1929 in Worthington R.D. 2 to Michael F. and Anna C.
(Pavlinac) Borovatz.
Miss Borovatz was a retired office supervisor for PennDOT in Harrisburg, Pa.,
from 1948-80.
She graduated in 1947 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville,
Pa.
Her other memberships included the Armstrong County Historical and Museum
Society and Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees. A resident of
the area for most of her life except for the time spent in Harrisburg, she
enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and reading.
Survivors include three sisters, Anna C. Gang of Louisville, Ohio, Mary Irene
Lewis of Indianapolis, Ind. and Catherine Elizabeth Keller of Dillsburg, Pa.;
four nephews, including Donald M. Keller of Worthington R. D. 1 whom lived with
her; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, who died May 14, 1969; her mother, who
died Sept. 13, 1987; and three brothers, John F. Borovatz, who died April 29,
2001, Peter Joseph Borovatz, who died Dec. 20, 1987 and Albert William Borovatz,
who died April 12, 2000.
Friends of Margaret Frances Borovatz, 73, of Worthington R. D. 1, who died Jan.
29, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder
Funeral Home, Bear Street, Worthington. A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville with the
Rev. Lou Pascazi officiating.
Burial will be in St. John Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
