Margaret Ann Barnhart Morris

Margaret Ann "Peg" (Barnhart) Morris, 80, of Kittanning, entered into God's
heavenly presence Tuesday, May 26, 2009, unexpectedly at Butler County Memorial
Hospital.

Peg was born March 12, 1929 in Worthington, to Ralph and Helen (Caldwell)
Barnhart.

She was a 1947 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.  

Peg was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking, reading and visiting with her
family.

Peg also loved her church family and was involved in serving Christ through
numerous activities and programs.

Peg will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving mother, wife,
grandmother, sister, aunt, caregiver and friend.

Her cinnamon rolls and pies, her take-charged initiative, infectious smile and
kind words and deeds touched us all.

Margaret is survived by six children, Katherine Palermo and her husband, Mike of
Ford City, James K. and his wife, Ann, of Joplin, MO, Deborah Morris of Clarion,
Thomas R. and his wife, Shirley, of Kittanning, Robert P. and his wife, Luan, of
Worthington, and Susan E. Morris and her fiance, Scott Steim, of Kittanning. 
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, Anthony
Palermo, of Ford City, Ellen Palermo of Walton Manors, FL, Allison Palermo, of
Shadyside, Lawrence James Morris and his wife, Megan, of Joplin, Brandon K.
Morris, of Fort Drum, NY, Amanda Morris, of Kittanning, Todd Dosch and his
fiance Jessica Kidder, of Kittanning, and Stacy and Adam Dosch, both of
Worthington.

Peg also has two great-grandchildren, Krista and James Morris, one great
stepgrandchild, Aiden Joseph Dosch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition, Peg is survived by two brothers, Arthur Barnhart of Riverview, FL
and David Barnhart and his wife, Mary, of Canal Winchester, Ohio.

Peg was preceded in death by her husband Roy K. Morris, a sister, Mary Ellen
Rearick and a grandson, Jason Thomas Morris.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday in
the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning. Funeral services will be held at
10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, in First Baptist Church in Kittanning with
Pastor A. David Meneely, her pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.

The family suggest that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to
First Baptist Church (International Ministries) and Camp Judson, P.O. Box 65,
398 Holliday Road, PA 16430.
