Contance E Dickson Progecene

Constance E.  Dickson "Connie" Progecene, 76, of Frederick, MD., passed away
Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the Filcare Home.  She was the beloved wife of Frank
Progecene for 52 years.

Born December 18, 1935, in Leechburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Paul
and Edna (Skierski) Dickson.

Mrs. Progecene was a teacher in Worthington, PA., for the 1956-1957 school year
and then taught in Frederick Co. for 2 years.  She also worked in extensive
services at Penn State University.  

Connie enjoyed painting, arts and crafts especially sewing. She also played the
piano and enjoyed music.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Brent F. Progecene and
wife Patty of Thurmont; her granddaughter Evvy Progecene; her brother Brian
Dickson of MD, her sister Leona Wilson of Amity, PA and a sister-in-law Mary Ann
Travaglia and husband Joseph of Leechburg, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown
Pike, Frederick on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.  A funeral
service will be held at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave.
on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10 AM.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD.
