Robert Kenneth Sowers SR
Robert Kenneth Sowers Sr., of Cresent, PA., passed away on January 10, 2018.
He was born November 26, 1926, in Worthington, PA., a son of the late Charles
and Mary (Kile) Sowers.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA.
Robert was employed at Turner Implement Store in various positions from mechanic
to salesperson and for many years worked a second evening job at Shaffers Bus
Service.
He served as a merchant marine.
He was a jack-of-all-trades and had the unique ability to barter for almost
anything he needed.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert Jr., and daughters, Andrea Fiedler, Joni
Sambol, and brother Marvin.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, June, son, David,
daughter, Terry Garret, and sister, Ellen Raimond, along with eleven
grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.
