Paul Lloyd Luketic SR

Paul Lloyd Luketic Sr., 72, of 268 Prospect Ave., Cadogan, Pa. died Tuesday,
July 27, 1999 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township,
Kittanning, Pa.

He was born May 11, 1927 in Worthington to Peter and Helen (Mastrovich)
Luketic.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Luketic was a life long resident of the area. He was employed at the
Allegheny River Mining Company and Bethlehem Steel and retired from Armstrong
County.

A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served during World War II.

He was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Cadogan.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene (Milligan) Luketic, whom he married on July
3, 1947; three sons, Paul L. Luketic Jr., of West Hickory, Pa., John Luketic and
Michael Tim Luketic, both of Cadogan; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Laraine)
Stubbs of Kittanning; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one
step-grandson; four brothers, Nicholas Luketic of Kittanning, George Luketic,
Mark Luketic and Peter Daniel Luketic, all of Cowansville, Pa.; and one sister,
Mildred Luketic of Kittanning.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank Luketic and
Joseph Luketic.

Friends of Paul L. Luketic Sr, 72, of 268 Prospect Ave., Cadogan, Pa., who died
July 27, 1999, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 1999 at the
Mantini Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, Pa. where a Parish Wake
service will also be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. A prayer service will be held
Thursday, July 29, 1999 at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral
Mass at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Cadogan, at 11 a.m. with the pastor,
the Rev. Edward Volz, O.S.P., officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Francis DePaul Cemetery, Cadogan, Pa. 

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Ford City Library
and/or the Divine Redeemer School.
