Norman William Nulph

Norman William Nulph, 71, 823 E. 9th St., Erie, Pa., died Saturday, December 12,
1998, at his residence.

He was born in Worthington, Pa., December 7, 1927, son of the late Abraham and
Edna F. (Jones) Nulph.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and had served in the Army Signal Corps in
France.

Most of his working years he was a carpenter. He also worked as a maintenance
man at J.C. Penney Co. in the Millcreek Mall, Erie. He enjoyed hunting and
fishing.

He is survived by a son, Robert T. Nulph; a daughter, Karen A. Nulph, both of
Erie; two brothers, Kenneth D. Nulph of Kittanning, Pa., and Harry R. Nulph, Sr.
of Youngstown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michela S. Nulph, Kimberly Torres,
Jason N. Torres and Jennifer Nulph; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harold W. Nulph, Robert
L. Nulph, Donald E. Nulph, Sr. and Arnold Nulph.

Friends may call at the Merle E. Wood Funeral Home, 215 W. 25th St, Erie,
Thursday, December 17, 1998, from 7 p.m. until the time of service there at 8
p.m. The Rev. John Brewer, pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ in God, Erie,
will officiate.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home.
