Kathleen Louise Crawford Giff
Kathleen "Louise" (Crawford) Giff, 87, of Worthington, Pa., died Friday,
December 19, 2014, at Kittanning Care Center, Kittanning, Pa.
She was born April 17, 1927, in Brady's Bend, Pa., to the late Calvin Ambrose
and Buelah A. (Shakley) Crawford-Emery.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church on Cadogan-Slate Lick Road.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanie Turney (Michael), of Kittanning;
granddaughter, Sheena (Adams) Best, of Worthington; step-grandson, Jim Turney,
of Ford City, Pa.; two brothers, Richard Calvin Crawford (Connie), of
Kittanning, and Robert Frank Crawford (Marie), of Worthington; two sisters,
Donna "June" Smith, of Worthington, and Patricia Lee Smith, of Worthington;
and two step-brothers, Dennis J. Emery, of Bruin, and the Rev. Larry L. Emery,
of Ashtabula, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Giff, in 2012; four
sisters, Mona "Jean" Smith, Betty Lue Mularchik, Dorothy Irene Budd and infant
sister Vivian Crawford; and two step-brothers, Ronald and Wallace Emery.
Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
Monday with the Rev. Jonathan Hill officiating.
Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Baptist Church for church camp.
