Theodore George Anthony
Theodore "Ted" George Anthony, 87, of Vimy Ridge Avenue, Norfolk, Va., died
Monday, February 29, 2016 in a local hospital.
Ted was born December 10, 1928, the son of the late Francis H. and Mildred
(Butler) Anthony of Craigsville, PA.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He was a veteran of the Army and Air Force.
After completing his military service he was fortunate to get a job with Ford
Motor Company which lasted 35 years until his retirement in 1988.
Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Jeremiah and
Melissa, daughter-n-law, Darlene Midgette, plus nieces and nephews.
Ted was predeceased by his precious and loving wife of 59 years, Velma Belle
Midgette Maddox Anthony, and his step-sons, Stanley F. Midgette, and Mark S.
Maddox, brother, Roger and sisters, Marcella Farrington, Patricia Barrett and
Shirley Fisher.
A graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Mon., March 7th in Forest
Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Va.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice
