George Nelson Hindman

George Nelson Hindman, 47, of Kittanning, R.D. 7, Pa., died Sunday, March 21,
1976, on arrival at 1:15 p.m. at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital (East
Franklin Township), Kittanning, Pa.

Mr. Hindman was born March 31, 1928 in Craigsville, Pa., a son of Carr S.
Hindman, now deceased and Laura J. (McMillen) Hindman.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War, a member of the Mt.
Union Reformed Church, Kittanning, R.D. 2, and a member of the Worthington
American Legion.

He was a retired employee of Schwerman Trucking Co., of West Winfield, Pa.

Survivors include his wife, the former Geraldine M. Slease; daughters, Amy Sue
and Jill both at home; his mother, Mrs. Laura J. (McMillen) Hindman of
Worthington; brothers, Frank L. Hindman of Butler, Pa., Elmer S. Hindman of
Worthington R.D. 1, James Kennedy Hindman of Butler Road, Kittanning, and Paul
Alexander Hindman of Kittanning R.D. 3; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Green of
Bloomingdale, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends of George Nelson Hindman, 47, of Kittanning, R.D. 7, are being received
from 2 to 4  and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Mar. 22, 1976, at the James A. Flick
Funeral Home, Worthington, Pa. Service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mar.
23, 1976, at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Willie Morris, pastor of Mt.
Union Reformed Church, R.D. 2, Kittanning, Pa.

Burial will be in Worthington United Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
