Betty Jean Kemp Murray

Betty Jean Kemp Murray, 33, of Craigsville, died Thursday at 10:30 a.m., October
26, 1961, in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born in Fenelton, Butler County, November 30, 1927, she was the daughter of Carl
H. and Mary (Cannon) Kemp.

She was a 1946 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, and employed by
the Thorofare Supermarket in Kittanning.

Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Murray; three sons, Albert D., Charles R.
and Carl W. Murray, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kemp of
Worthington R.D. 1; four sisters, Margaret Kemp of Pittsburgh, Lois L. and Ruth
V. Kemp, both of Worthington, and Kathleen M. Kemp of Chicora; and a brother,
Carl Kemp of Kittanning.

Friends of Mrs. Betty Jean Murray, 33, of Craigsville, who died Thursday, Oct
26, 1961, will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, Worthington, beginning at
7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from St. John
Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, with the Rev. Charles Riley, pastor,
officiating. 

Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
