Leroy Franklin Bundy

Leroy Franklin Bundy, 82, of Coarsegold, Calif., died Thursday, February 16,
2006.

He was born, December 11, 1923 in West Winfield, Pa, a son of the late Earl
Calvin Bundy and Martha Agasta (Fischer) Bundy.

He grew up in Craigsville, Pa.

Before finishing high school in Worthington, Pa., he joined the Army Air Force.
He was a veteran of WW II in the European Theatre. After his discharge, he
returned home and graduated in 1946 from Worthington-West Franklin High School,
Worthington, Pa.

He worked a number of years at the Graff-Kittanning Clay Products, Craigsville,
Pa., before moving to Calif.

Leroy spent his working career as a mechanic with Hughes Aircraft Co. Upon
retirement in 1987, he and his wife moved from Canoga Park, Calif. (in the San
Fernando Valley), to Yosemite Lakes Park, Coarsegold.

Leroy's great loves were golfing and woodworking. He spent many contented hours
doing both, sharing his talents with friends and family. It was Leroy's wish
that he be remembered standing on the tee saying, "Give me a high 5 and have a
nice day!"

Survivors include, his wife, Margaret Jane (Lemmon) Bundy at home; one son,
Larry N. Bundy of Miami, Florida; one daughter, Marty J. Kellor of Agoura Hills,
Calif.; six wonderful grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is also survived by three brothers; Earl Calvin Bundy Jr. of Worthington, Pa,
William F. Bundy of Mentor, Ohio and Robert E. Bundy Sr. of Palmyra, Pa.; four
sisters, Helen I. Raves of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Maybelle L. Claypool of Carlisle,
Pa., Betty L. Goephert of Verona, Pa., and Esther C. Cataldi of Cowansville,
Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd R. Bundy; one sister, Winifred A.
Ulisky.

A Memorial Service will be held at Yosemite Lakes Community Church on Saturday,
March 18, 2006, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Cody Gunderdson officiating.

Remembrances my be made to the Memorial Fund of Yosemite Lakes Community
Church.
