George William Rea  

George William Rea, 46, of Boston, Mass., formerly of the Slate Lick, Pa., area,
died Saturday, May 25, 1974.

Born October 15, 1927, in North Buffalo Township (Armstrong County), he was the
son of William Rea and the late Margaret (Anderson) Rea.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years service, and was a member of
the Fleet Reserve Association.

Survivors include his father, William Rea of RD 4, Kittanning, Pa.; his widow,
Harriet (Veader) Rea; two sons, Stephen Rea - serving with the U.S. Navy, and
Kevin Rea at home; one daughter, Linda Rea at home. Step-son, Toby Kenyon of
Greenwood, Del.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Joanne Davis, also of Greenwood,
Mrs. Sandra Wester and Mrs. Christine Pinkerton, both of Florida; two brothers,
Paul Rea of RD 1, Fenelton, Pa., and Carl Rea of RD 3, Ford City, Pa.; four
sisters, Mrs. Ethel I. Smail of RD 3, Ford City, Mrs. Nancy Klingensmith and
Mrs. Janice Kline both of RD 4, Kittanning, and Mrs. Verna Moore of Crestline,
Ohio.

Burial was Wednesday, May 29, 1974, in Boston, Ma.
