Ethel Irene Rea Smail Lazzeri
Ethel Irene (Rea) Smail Lazzeri, 74, of RD 3, Ford City, Pa., died Monday, March
19, 2001 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township,
Kittanning, Pa.
She was born November 24, 1926 in Armstrong County to William and Margaret
(Anderson) Rea.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Mrs. Lazzeri was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, Ford City, Pa.
Her hobbies were bowling and gardening. She was an avid bingo and card player.
For all of her life she was a resident of Armstrong County.
Survivors include one son, Donald E. Smail of Vandergrift, Pa.; three
grandchildren, James Smail and David Smail and Heidi Smail; one brother, Carl
Rea of Kittanning; three sisters, Janice Kline and Nancy Klingensmith both of
Kittanning and Mrs. Lowell (Verna) Henke of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Homer J. Smail, who
died in 1976; her second husband, Andrew Lazzeri, who died in 2000; one son,
James P. Smail, who died in 1981; and two brothers, Paul and George William
Rea.
Friends of Ethel Irene (Rea) Smail Lazzeri, 74, of RD 3, Ford City, Pa., who
died, March 19, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
the Mantini Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, where funeral
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2001, with the Rev.
Raymond E. Hausele, officiating.
Interment will be in the Forks Church Cemetery, Leechburg, Pa.
