Robert Gerald Toy

Robert Gerald Toy, 53, of Bairdsford, died suddenly at his home, Monday, July
21, 1980.

Born April 29, 1927 in Kittanning, he was the son of Charles and the late
Arvella (Black) Toy.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA. 

He lived in West Deer Township for the past 25 years. He was employed by the
American Bridge Company in Ambridge for 15 years, and the West Deer Tavern for
12 years.

An avid gardener and oil painter, he was also a member of the V.F.W. 9817 in
West Deer Township, and the Owl's Club and Russian Club, both in Russellton.

He is survived by his father, Charles and step-mother Ella (Smith) Toy of
Kittanning; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Kathy) Bruce of Long Beach, Calif.; three
brothers, Arnold, Dean and Howard, all of Worthington; one sister, Mrs. David
(Esther) Miller of Kittanning and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends of Robert G. Toy, of Bairdford, who died Monday, July 21, 1980 will be
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the J. R. Siwicki Funeral
Home, Russellton, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
Dennis Klett, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, South Pioneer Rd., Allison
Park, officiating. 

Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Garden, Dorseyville, Pa.
