Sara Caroline Templeton Clowes

Sara Caroline Templeton Clowes, 90 of Washington, formerly of Saxonburg, passed
away on
Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Premier Washington Health Center. 

Born September 11, 1927 in Worthington, PA, she was the daughter of the late
Elmer Conrad Templeton and Margaret Emily (Stewart) Templeton. 

Sara was 1945 graduate of Worthington High School.

She graduated from the Allegheny Valley School of Nursing in 1948. Sara worked
as a nurse at the Allegheny Valley Hospital, VA Healthcare in Aspinwall, and
the Passavant Retirement  Center. Sara was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian 
Church in Sarver and the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, doing yard work and spending time with
her family. 

Surviving are daughters, Judith C. Bollinger of Louisville, KY and Carole A.
Farmer of  Saxonburg, son, William R. (LuAnn) Clowes of Franklin,
grandchildren,Jennifer (Mike) Radke of Butler, David (Kelley) Radke of
Louisville, KY, Sharon

Williams of Louisville, KY, and  Katelyn Clowes of Franklin, 5
great-grandchildren, brother, William Templeton of Roanoke, VA, sister, 
Margaret Shick of Dormont and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter,
Janice Radke, and sister, Mildred Kaufman.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 2-4 pm at the Fox
Funeral  Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg. There will be no services. 

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery, Saxonburg, Pa. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's
Association.
