Leona Marie Prignon Shipman
Leona Marie Prignon Shipman, of 69, of Plum Borough, Pa., died Monday, September
9, 1996.
She was born in Springdale, Pa., September 1, 1927, the daughter of the late
Albert H. and Marie C. (Aronson) Prignon.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Luke Shipman; a daughter,
Kathleen Reitz; two sons, James and Michael; five grandchildren; and three
brothers. Two of her brothers are Albert C. Prignon and Joseph L. Prignon.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. at the Stephen D. Dolence Jr. Funeral Home, 1519 Renton Road,
Pittsburgh, Pa. (Plum) A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 12,
1996, at St Januarius Church, 1450 Renton Road, Pittsburgh, Pa. (Plum)
Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough, Pa.
